I'm really looking forward to working my way through the entirety of this menu in the coming months. Everything looks so amazing and diverse. For my first time here, I ordered Mama's Fry Pan Breakfast because I wanted to try a bit of everything. I loved all of it, but was surprised to find that the shoulder bacon was actually my favorite! I'm not usually a huge bacon fan, but this is almost more like ham. I also had to try the ginger beer they make, which was excellent, but a little on the sweeter side. They only have regular coffee, no other coffee drinks. Service was almost a little too good on a weekday morning. I think we were close to the only ones in there (for a business meeting) so I don't know if he just didn't have enough to do, or what, but he kept interrupting us which was a little frustrating. He was also yelling welcome to each person that came in from behind the bar. The decor in here is beautifully rustic, but modern. Major kudos to their interior designer.

This was my second time here. The menu isn't huge on the variety of proteins but what they do make is amazing. The deviled eggs are amazing. The brisket is tender, the fried chicken is crispy and flavorful. The inside is small-ish but decorated fun and very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try especially if you like southern cooking.

If I had to pick one word to describe this place, it would be WOW. Came here for a work lunch and WOW. The food is probably the most comfort, comfort food I've ever had! The portions are gigantic - to the point where I'd say you can easily share! We started with some appetizers to share (the deviled eggs and fried pickles) and both were amazing. The deviled eggs were definitely the best I've ever had. Their dill ranch is to die for too! Don't even get me started with my Mac n Cheese waffle sandwich. I think it was enough to feed a family of 4 lol. It was so good and the food coma definitely came afterwards. I have to say, it wasn't a great leftover so I suggest to share and finish your meal while you're there! Service was great and fast. The restaurant itself is so cute with sunflowers and cute decor everywhere!

This was my very first visit to Mama Bird without knowing much about it. I came for a Wednesday lunch as a party of three. First off, the space is super cute and you can tell they spent lots of time and energy decorating this space. I can imagine some lovely brunches here. We ordered a few things so we could share it all. * Spicy Fried Green Beans * Southern Fried Dill Pickles * Chicken Fried Steak with Over Easy Eggs * Fried Chicken Plate (Three Boneless Thighs) with Collared Greens and Jalapeño Cornbread * White Cheddar Grits - Large It took a good while for our food to come. There were a few other parties there, so it wasn't extremely busy or anything. But we felt like we had to wait a tad too long for our food to come. The server knew we had been waiting awhile and came by to tell us that it was coming soon. My absolute favorites were the Spicy Fried Green Beans and the Southern Fried Dill Pickles. My companions couldn't handle the heat of the green beans but I had no issues with it. And I've been having a lot of fried pickles lately and their version is among the best. The batter stayed on each individual piece which was a good sign. The dipping sauce was a Dill Ranch which had lots of fresh dill and made it extra refreshing. The Chicken Fried Steak and Fried Chicken Thighs were hits for my friends. They enjoyed it and had no issues with it. They also enjoyed the Sausage Gravy, Collared Greens and Jalapeño Cornbread. The only issue we had was the White Cheddar Grits. None of us liked it. It was the taste, texture, color, etc. We were really excited to try it and initially had planned on ordering it as a main, and were very relieved we didn't. I ended up taking home the leftovers to see what the Husband and Little Gal thought of it. It was a fail at home too. Not sure if this was a one off, and maybe we should have sent it back. Overall, I would return! They have a huge food and drink menu, so you can easily come back and try a bunch of other things.

Mood: Breakfast with a twist Heard about this place from another Yelper so for sure so had to try it. It is not just a breakfast spot but great for later in the day lunch and early dinner. We got there pretty early so was seated right away and the DECOR we love! The blue is bright and such a cute farm style restaurant theme that includes BOURBON. It was cute and clean overall with nice attentive service. Food & beverage Mimosas pitcher: 8/10: watermelon lemonade is a good sweet mimosa mixture. A little too sweet but different in a good way. Spicy Fried green beans 10/10: the dill sauce is everything! A great Friday crisp to the green beans and the salsa was so good as a pair. We ordered a green bean to go. Pork, belly and grits 5/10: I was not expecting the grits to have zero taste. It was more of a porridge. We did send it back and was able to get something else. The pork belly was cooked really well. Texture was good just a little bit on the salty side. Wings & waffles 9/10: the chicken wings that came with this was a little bit spicy which I like surprisingly that pairs with a sweeet waffle. Overall, it was good I like the waffle cooked nice and fluffy. Will be returning to try other options, especially the bourbon flight they have available Just not first thing in the morning lol.

Late post, I know but I had to get my review on here. This place was so good that we will be celebrating our anniversary TONIGHT there... We actually were introduced to this place after checking out the Mexican restaurant next door. Taylor was our waitress and Timothy was the bartender. They made this visit Amazing. Watching Timothy create all the unique drinks with so much passion was awesome. He recommended a few drinks that we will be trying out tonight. The ambiance was very cute. I loved the designs they choose but the place is small and they do have way more booths than tables. I can see having to wait when they are busy. This place does have a happy hour menu, so if you are in the area before 5pm..go check it out. We started out with the dill pickles. They were THE BEST I have had in Las Vegas...I rarely order them because they are often done wrong But they got it right!!!!! The Pimento Cheese is definitely a must try. Very creative. I had the Rose Whiskey Flight and my wife ordered this delicious Banana Bread Whiskey cocktail, which was perfect for non whiskey drinkers. We ordered the 3 piece fried chicken thighs and the full slab of ribs. The chicken was cooked perfectly...not dry and very crunchy. The ribs were fall off the bone good. Each come with a small side which is plenty for two to share. The sides we selected were the collard greens and Mac n cheese. The collards had some heat to them, so if you don't like spice, this might not be for you but BABY...THEY WERE PERFECT for meeeee..... If you love some southern food, come try this place out NOW! Want more info on this place, follow me, and check out our anniversary post..If you try this place, let me know what you loved the most...okay byyyyeeee

When it comes to Mama Bird, you really can't go wrong. Every time I visit them, we always have a delicious time. Amazing place if you are looking for some southern-style magic. You can truly taste the quality when it comes to their food. Everything tastes freshly made to order and is delectable. It was my first time trying out this new location. We walked in around 3 pm. To our surprise, it was pretty empty but no complaints there. Friendly staff greeted us and service was top-notch from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is very impressive. Clean decor and restaurant everything were thought out carefully and it's maintained by the staff. Although it was a bit quiet when we got there, we can tell it's a great spot and the place will get packed during peak dinner time. They have a happy hour from 4-6 pm and the menu has countless yummy choices. Chicken Sandwich - Chicken cooked to perfection, juicy, and sandwich overall made well. All the flavors went well together. Came with seasoned fries Shrimp Po' Boy Sandwich - I'm a big fan of po'boy and this place has a great one but I will have to say the chicken sandwich was better. Deviled Eggs appetizer- MUST TRY - comes with bacon bits and sweet jalapenos on top Chicken Tenders w Fries - something for the kid - she loved it. Tender chicken not dry at all. All in all, amazing place to dine in whenever you need some good finger-licking chicken.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now! Had such a great experience here. It was a group of 6 of us and we all enjoyed each of our entrees. Portions were huge and the service was friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a southern summery charm. - Blueberry French toast casserole: SO much easier to eat than the average French toast you have to struggle to cut and love that it's a more even distribution of moisture of the bread - Mac n' cheese chicken waffle sandwich: heavy but the epitome of comfort food - Pitmaster's scramble: hearty, cheesy and would definitely recommend, loved the sweet potatoes - Brown butter peach old fashioned: pretty refreshing and peach flavor isn't too overpowering - Banana bread old fashioned: nice to try but I'm not big on the banana flavoring - Bloody Mary: amazing and one the best I've had Would definitely recommend if you're craving hearty, delicious food and drinks!

I brought Family from out of town here. The food was good, but it was not great, which is sad as I regularly come to Mama Bird. I ordered the grilled cheese brisket with north-south fries, and it tasted like it was leftover, not freshly made. My aunt ordered chicken tenders and mac & cheese, and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal My mom and other aunt ordered shrimp and grits to share, and unfortunately, my mother couldn't eat it at all, and my aunt tolerated it. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful and made the dining experience enjoyable. I did not report the unsatisfactory meals to the staff as the family did not want to.
